Find the coordinates as accurately as possible, select the type of positioning and orientation of the wall, then click on the Execute button to get the project your sundial. more ....
After building the project with the designs of the dial and the gnomon, you can send to your email the PDF document to be printed.
Cut the gnomon and fold the paper along the lines, then mount it on the dial, matching the base with the castings of the dial.
Use the paper is the solution faster but less durable, I recommend using the print as a model to achieve it with another material such as a wooden, metal or the one best suited to your creativity. The construction paper can be used to verify that the data used are correct.
This version of the sundial has primarily a didactic function, it is achievable in a few minutes, and once mounted on the wall as you can immediately check the location the sun keeps time (the kids are excited), it is also a great tool to understand the astronomical geography.
In the future i would like to create a CAD dwg document to create professional sundial of any size, i have not yet finished work on it.
